Upcoming Workshop: Dr. Leonard Sax presents, Gender in the Classroom

Leonard Sax, MD, PhD is coming to Jackson February 19-20. Dr. Sax is a child development and gender differences expert and the author of Why Gender Matters , Boys Adrift and Girls on the Edge . He appears frequently on television news programs and is a regular contributor to publications such as the New York Times, LA Times, Washington Post, Psychology Today and Education Week. He presents regularly at schools around the country.

Dr. Sax will be hosted in JH by Raising Girls, Journeys School and Teton County Library, with support from The Equipoise Fund, Community Foundation of Jackson Hole and St. John's Medical Center.

He is offering numerous presentations geared toward educators and parents. There is a free, educator-specific workshop entitled "Gender in the Classroom" on Thurs., Feb. 20 from 4-6pm.
