Dear Parents,

Happy, snowy March! It’s hard to believe we’re at the point in the year where we’re ending our annual ski program and looking ahead to PAWS testing for our 3rd – 5th graders. Thanks for your support in both of these endeavors!
Parent-Teacher conferences - Thank you for attending your child’s conference last week. A strong home-school partnership is crucial to a student’s success in school Smiley

Baby on the way for Ms. Nial – No news yet, but Stephanie Capps will begin this week as the long-term substitute for Ms. Nial. Her visits to Kelly School will be every Tuesday, and will continue the work Nial has done this year. Welcome, Stephanie!

What’s happening in specials classes? – Please take a moment to visit the Alta School website to check out what is happening this grading period in our Specials classrooms! This helpful chart, organized by grade level and class, will keep you informed on the concepts, skills, and/or projects you child is working on in Specials classes (art, music, PE, computer, library, Spanish). March Home-School Connection – Please take a few minutes to read this month’s issue, it’s got some great tips and ideas in it. I like the piece it had on encouraging risk-taking, and the advice about how to help your child approach homework.
